10/28/2002 Lesley, I appoligize that it has taken me awhile to reply with my fiance's reaction to the ring. I have been quite busy upon getting back from my vacation. Anyway, when I got home and finally saw the ring myself I was amazed! It looked so much better in real life than in the picture. It was better than I could have hoped for. I knew my fiance would love it, and boy did she ever! She cried as soon as she saw the ring, and after I slipped it on her finger it would have taken quite a few people to pry it back off. She refused to take it off and would constantly be in search of some great light to make it sparkle and shine. In fact, we rode one elevator in her parent's office building for 10 minutes just because it made the ring really sparkle. I just want to say thank you again for making the perfect ring. It seems that the ring for my fiancé Lisa was so unbelievably gorgeous that she could not stop staring at it all weekend, and thus she has failed her anatomy exam today. Hahaha! 9/12/2002 Just a quick fyi that your wonderful stones finally made their way through a setting and two appaisals - with flying colors. :) They are remarkable stones, based upon comments from both the appraiser and the diamond setter. Thanks again for your prompt and friendly service. Not to overuse the cliche, but you were a diamond in the rough. :) I just loved it when the appraiser commented that the AGA certs OVERstated the inclusions, meaning they were actually smaller than graphically indicated on the computer plots. I am in progress writing up a written letter of thanks; and, if you are interested, I would be happy to include a picture of the final ring. Please advise whether these would be welcome. Avery M.

9/8/2002 I am so sorry not to have replied earlier but I just wanted to drop you a note to say that we are both delighted with the rings I bought back in May. The diamond really is beautiful - thank you for your help in choosing it. It was very daunting spending thousands of pounds on something that I had not even yet seen, but you really inspire confidence so was quite easy in the end. The ring design is even more beautiful close-up. I love all of the curves and lines that are made by the platinum. By the way, I have noticed that some of the high-street jewellers are now imitating that design but even at a simple glance, the quality of the work is not even close. Well, we have just had a wonderful summer together, but Leah has had to go back to Memphis to finish her degree and so we're back to *long distance mode* until Christmas. I have mentioned your company to a couple of my friends, who are planning engagements soon, but they both think I should be locked up for even thinking of buying a diamond on the internet, so I doubt I have put any more business your way yet. 8/16/2002 Yes, the diamond came… in 3 days flat after I wired the money over. It looks great! brilliant! beautiful! The free diamond toolkit was really thoughtful.... and fun! I never stared at a rock for so long in my life! ^_^ Anyway I really appreciated your help, and the professionalism you have shown. I tried taking pictures with my digital camera but they didn't turn out well. Anyway, I'll make a post in the forums soon, perhaps after I set the stone and propose to my fiancee... 7/18/2002 You folks have impressed the pants clean off me. CLEAN OFF. This email cannot possibly do justice to my level of satisfaction with your service, your pricing, and my new diamond. I took my new H&A stone and kit to my family (trusted) jeweler. When he inspected the cert and the stone, he sheepishly asked me how much I paid. When I told him, he smiled and said that including the kit and free insured shipping, he would indeed expect to pay about the same thing from his wholesaler. I have to shake my head when I think about all of the people who would rather pay retail, then do some research of their own and come out with an incredible stone at an incredible price. In particular, I appreciate Ramona's motivation to steal me from the grip of ******.com with an offer I couldn't refuse. 7/2/2002 I purchased a 3/4 carat diamond from you in Late May. I just took it to the jeweler's this weekend, and the jeweler was a personal friend and was my next door neighbor as a child. I asked her to check and see if the diamond really as what you said it was, Color, clarity, etc... She went back and did her Jeweler's thing for a minute or so, and she was absolutely shocked when I told her how much I paid. The jeweler told me she couldn't believe that I bought the diamond at the price I did, she said it would have been 40%-50% more in her store, and she couldn't understand how I bought at the price I did. 5/3/2002 Just wanted to let you know that we love the ring that you helped me with earlier in March! Even more so when the answer to my (obvious) question in Mexico was "Yes". I wouldn't hesitate to buy another item (though hopefully not another engagement ring ;o) from Whiteflash in the future via bank transfer. Unfortunately, I guessed wrong on the ring size and while it fits my fiancée's middle finger, it's a bit big for her ring finger. So, I was wondering what the best way of ensuring that it was resized correctly if I were to send it back to Whiteflash (and how much that resizing would cost and how long it would take). 3/8/2002 Yep... the package was delivered to me at noon. However, my grandfather happened to step out of the house during the time. Called Fedex to arrange for a second delivery. Got the package at 9.35 pm today. Was suprised that the diamond came in a big Fedex box. My wife and myself were very excited about the diamond and was looking forward to its arrival. I forgot to mention earlier that I found this diamond using Pricescope and searching for diamonds that were graded on their visual performance (beauty) using the Holloway Cut Ranking. I believe there is something to this method. The diamond I purchased from you had a very high ranking, and it is a very beautiful stone. I would like to commend Whiteflash for its excellent price on this particular stone. It is the nicest diamond I have ever purchased, and I felt that the price was excellent (the $1856.50 price, I mean!) ;o) It has been a pleasure doing business with you. 2/8/2002 I got my diamond on time, and in great condition at FedEx. The place where I am going to get it set on a ring give the diamond a quick weigh and a look under the microscope. 2/1/2002 I finally got it home last night and had a look. What a beautiful stone! This was confirmed this morning in natural light as well. I still want to take it to the local dealer and compare it to the diamond I considered purchasing from him. I will of course be conscious of the fact that his opinion is biased, but I am confident that they will compare favorably and I will walk away knowing I made the right choice. I am considering utilizing the Jeweler's Mutual insurance program through him (I am planning to allow him to set the stone as he seems to be the most capable jeweler I have met locally). Do you have any thoughts on this insurance program? I believe I can specify replacement with ACA only. Do you know if the AGS report and verification that came with the diamond are sufficient for insuring with JM? I am confident enough in the quality of the stone that I might skip appraisal if I have enough information already. One other small matter to note. It appears that I did not get my jeweler's cloth as well. (I am assuming that the small pieces of tissue paper surrounding the stone in packaging is not the jeweler's cloth). Perhaps you could sent me on of those as well, but I would like you to hold off on doing so. My girlfriend will be returning from out of the country unexpectedly early, on Monday. I would not want to receive any package which might ruin the surprise I have in store for her. I was able to use the viewer to see the arrows as well as the hearts. Wow! That's cool! 1/21/2002 It worked out great. It was a gorgeous day at the beach on Saturday and not alot of people were around because people think of it as winter here, even though it is warm and sunny. I asked her and she said yes. She loved the ring, so I think all is okay to tell your vendor we are keeping it and to send the original gemological certificate. Later in the weekend, she pulled out her old high school year books (because we knew eachother a bit in high school) and we found out that I left a message in her year book. It was quite romantic. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks for everything. I think you all do a wonderful job at Whiteflash and I was especially thankful for all the time you took personally to help me out. I just wanted to let you know that the diamond arrived yesterday at 11:30 pacific time. Of course we both had to look at it about a hundred times with the Hearts and Arrows' viewer. Beautiful! A true Hearts & Arrows diamond! We then took it to the jeweler and not one to tip my hand I asked him for his opinion. First thing he checked was the color, which he said was an F+. Then he looked at the diamond under a Binocular Microscope and said, "There's only one thing wrong with this diamond…it's gorgeous and nearly flawless". My fiance and I busted out laughing and started breathing again. He said the cut was magnificent and he was amazed at the detail in the cut along the girdle. I told him that it was a "Hearts & Arrows" cut diamond and he remarked that it is the best. We're having it set today and I will send you JPEG pictures when we pick up the ring. I felt it appropriate to express my compliments on the service I received from your company. Lisa was always willing and happy to talk to me about any questions I had about my purchase. All communications that transpired were greeted with enthusiasm and delight. I have not had the opportunity to work with many people like this in the past. This was a rare treat for me. Even though Lisa knew that I did not have a lot of money to spend, she treated me like I was an exceptionally important person to her. We discussed the stones that were available and the qualities and prices of each. She actually took the time to take each individual stone out of its package and look at it for me. She told me the differences between them and exact locations of the inclusion if there was any. Never once was there any sign she was in a rush to get to another project or had something better to do. She seemed to enjoy talking with me. This persona that she projected was amazing. There was a slight time delay between when I was able to purchase the stone, and the time that I picked it out. I was waiting for the funding to come through. You were able to set the stone aside for me, which I greatly appreciated. While I was waiting for the money, I would occasionally have a question about that specific stone. (I was very nervous buying a stone over the internet that I had never seen) I was always greeted with enthusiasm. I probably called in three or four times after the initial consultation, and every time my questions were answered and my concerns put to rest. Your salespeople provided me with the best service that I have ever received from anyone. Local jewelers and other companies have not even come close to the respect I received.
